Church TeamsIn Barclay Church the Kirk session is divided into 4 Teams, each of which, along with members of the congregation, guides a particular aspect of the life of the church. These 4 items are: The Church Life TeamThis team is responsible for welcoming, encouraging participation, providing opportunities for social events and for praying together.The Parish Mission TeamThis team's responsibilities include outreach work, evangelism to the Parish and identifying ways in which we can serve our local community. The Education and Worship TeamThis team is responsible for the spiritual growth of the church through fellowship, worship and Christian Education for the whole congregation. The National and International TeamThis team's tasks transcend the parish boundary, recognising that we are part of a world-wide church. This includes supporting missionary partners and other churches, and helping to formulate a Christian response to issues currently facing society.The Congregational BoardThe care of the finances and building are in the hands of the Congregational Board, a mix of men and women who are elected by church members and elders.
